Meet Josh Kroman
Owner, Designer and Watchmaker
Josh possesses a deep-seated enthusiasm for rare gemstones, fine diamonds, bespoke jewelry, and horology. Above all, he finds fulfillment in assisting others, valuing the personal bonds he builds with clients while sharing his appreciation for these exquisite treasures. With extensive knowledge in the field, Josh holds gemological credentials from the Gemological Institute of America, recognized as the global leader in gemstone science. Additionally, he is a skilled horologist, having earned the prestigious CW21 title from the American Watchmakers Clockmakers Institute. When he isn’t at the bench, Josh stays active with weightlifting and bodybuilding, and enjoys creative pursuits like oil painting. He also spends time bowling and caring for his classic automobile. Josh is incredibly grateful for his wife, who encourages his professional dedication. Together, they are raising two energetic young sons in the Northland area of Kansas City. The family enjoys exploring local cuisine, being outside with their black lab, and taking the occasional getaway to Table Rock Lake.
Meet Vince Martini
Lead Jeweler
Vince Martini brings decades of experience in jewelry fabrication, restoration, design, and gemstone work. His passion for gemstones and lapidary arts began at just five years old when he started collecting rocks, fossils, and gemstones. As a teenager, he was introduced to gem cutting before later apprenticing under master jewelers and a master diamond setter.

Meet Olivia Beisiegel
Jeweler
Olivia is a Kansas City native and life long artist. She creates in multiple medias but her favorite is jewelry. She believes that how we adorn ourselves matters deeply and self personalization is integral to happiness. Being a goldsmith is her dream career and she is sincerely passionate about creating, repairing, and refurbishing clients’ treasures. She is thankful to have found her place in a wonderful team that shares her zeal and drive to provide excellence to their clientele. In her free time she loves to explore KC, and her hobbies include working on her home, reading, and taking naps with her dog Kaiser.
Meet Anne-Marie Doucet
Operations Manager
Anne may not be on the bench, but she is a lifelong artist and designer. Before sitting down with our customers to design their dream pieces of jewelry, she was creating beautiful floral arrangements and digital artwork. You may have also spotted her digging in the dirt, searching for natural treasures and rocks—which is what first sparked her interest in the jewelry industry! She has always loved geodes and geology, so earning her certifications through Fred Meyer Jewelry and the Diamond Council of America, where she studied the science and characteristics of gemstones and diamonds, ultimately made her fall in love with the jewelry industry for good. Anne recently moved back to Kansas from the Pacific Northwest, where she got her start in the jewelry industry, and joined the Kroman team in 2025. As Operations Manager, she is hands-on with every piece of jewelry that comes through our doors. She also meets with clients to design their dream pieces, help them find the perfect jewelry, and determine the best solutions for repairs. Outside of work, besides rockhounding, she still loves creating art, reading, building LEGOs, and spending time at home with her two dogs, Reptar and Rocco, and her husband, Cody. “I feel very fortunate and lucky to be here every day. I love what I do and everyone I get to work with! I hope my passion allows me to help my clients discover the piece of jewelry they want or take care of the beloved pieces they already have.”
Meet Cherise Mayer
Jeweler
As a Master Goldsmith, Cherise enjoys doing custom work and hand fabricating. She loves learning new techniques and is constantly striving to create beautiful pieces for all our clients. Cherise grew up in Buffalo, SD in a rural ranching community. She attended Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Fine Art. In 2011, she began her bench jeweler career and in August of 2023 completed her master goldsmith certification. Recently, she moved to the Kansas City area and found this amazing workshop! She is so excited about the work that she gets to do for Kroman Jewelry and the wonderful team we have here!
